It's not too hard to get into, though some people say it is. Just need average grades with an average SAT score, maybe some extra curricular activities

Take senior year seriouslyApr 11 2009Economics
Take senior year seriously. It pays off to get high SAT scores, and straight A's in your final days of high school.
SAT: 1650 Female
I really didn't think i was going to get inOct 11 2008Pharmacy
I really didn't think i was going to get in. It has progressivly gotten harder to get in. Anyone who got in before 2006-07 had it easy. I applied 2008, had a 3.3 GPA and i joined all the clubs senior year. I did OK freshman and Sophmore year of hs; mostly B's and C's. However, junior year i had straight A's and worked my butt off. Senior year i picked hard classes and did OK there too. I joined every club i could get into and had amazing recommendations from previous teachers(tnx to junior year). So my advice is to apply early, WRITE AN ESSAY, get above 1650 on SAT's, amazing recommendation letters, plenty of clubs + volunteer hours + leadership roles, and of course decent grades. You have a better chance of getting in if a in-state student and GOOD LUCK!!
